Attendance Record at the Mexico Grand Prix 2024

This Saturday a new attendance record was set at the Mexican Grand Prix, reaching a total of 142,951 people at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. This achievement surpassed the previous mark set last year. Since 2015, the number of attendees over the three days of Formula 1 activities in Mexico has been increasing, reaching the previous record of 141,673 people in 2023.

The day of the GP of Mexico 2024 was marked by qualifying and practice 3, as well as the filming of scenes for a movie starring Brad Pitt. Despite the joy over the attendance record, it was a challenging day for 'Checo' Pérez, who was eliminated in Q1 of qualifying due to problems with braking in slow corners.

Amid the expectations for the movie's premiere in June 2025, the Mexican driver hopes to "minimize the damage" and recover in the race. Despite his performance, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, especially during the scene of Pitt getting out of a single-seater and greeting the audience to the rhythm of 'We Will Rock You' by Queen, creating a festive atmosphere among the fans.
